A FERMENTED products dairy
plant built at a cost of Rs 16.80
crore at the Bhopal Cooperative
Milk Union campus will be inaugurated on October 3 by Union
Home and Cooperation Minister
Amit Shah. The facility has been
developed to process milk and
manufacture value-added dairy
products.The project received a
Rs 6 crore grant from the Union
government, while the Bhopal
Cooperative Milk Union contributed Rs 10.80 crore. The plant
has a milk-processing capacity
of 40,000 litres per day.
MILK AND CURD PRODUCTION PLANNED: The facility
will have the capacity to process
10,000 litres of milk and produce
10,000 litres of curd daily. It will
also be capable of producing up
to 30,000 litres of buttermilk a
day.
The plant will have a daily
production capacity of 1,000
litres of lassi, 800 kg of shrikhand and 1,000 kg of mawa.
Modern machinery and processing technology will be used
for manufacturing the products.
SANCHI PRODUCT CAPACITY TO RISE:The new facility is
expected to increase production capacity for Sanchi’s valueadded products, including curd,
buttermilk, lassi, shrikhand and
mawa. It will provide additional infrastructure to convert milk
into a wider range of products.
Flight restrictions
from October 2
THE restrictions will remain in
force from 6 pm on October 2
until 10 pm on October 3. During
this period, drones, paragliders,
hot-air balloons and other flying objects will not be permitted within the designated area.
