The Nagpur Postal Division organised a customer meet and felicitation ceremony on October 14 as part of National Postal Week 2026, celebrating ‘Dak and Parcel Day’. The event aimed to strengthen customer relations, improve postal services and recognise contributions to business growth. Dr Sudhir Jadhav, Postmaster General, Nagpur Region, attended along with Hameelpur Sharyath Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Nagpur City Division, and Ganesh B Ambhore, Superintendent, Railway Mail Service (RMS) ‘F’ Division, Nagpur.

 

During the interaction, customers discussed their service requirements, expectations and opportunities for future collaboration. The discussions helped the department identify ways to improve delivery efficiency and strengthen relationships with business partners. Marketing executives, savings bank staff and employees involved in Postal Life Insurance (PLI) were felicitated for their outstanding performance. The programme highlighted the department’s commitment to reliable, accessible and customer-centric services, while exploring opportunities in logistics, financial services and parcel delivery.
