The visit will mark Irani’s first trip to Chhattisgarh since her appointment as state in-charge, accompanied by co-in-charge Shambhu. The state BJP organisation has begun preparations for the visit and the scheduled meetings. Irani is also expected to hold individual discussions with senior party leaders who do not currently have specific organisational responsibilities.
