The CBSE organised a two-day Teachers’ Training Workshop on the topic “Capacity Building Programme on Experiential Learning for Teachers” at G H Raisoni Public School recently. The workshop focused on strengthening teachers’ skills in learning through experience, highlighting the importance of hands-on practice that reinforces lessons beyond oral instruction. The sessions were conducted by eminent resource persons, Dr Sulakshana Bhuyar, Principal of Narayana e-Techno School, Nagpur, and Dr Dharitri Raut, Resource Person at COE Pune and member of the School Managing Committee at Vinadevi Darda School, Yavatmal. Over the two days, teachers explored Kolb’s Cycle, the three domains of Bloom’s Taxonomy, and the innovative L.A.A.R. strategy.

 

Through interactive activities, teachers gained practical insights into the experiential teaching-learning process and were guided on implementing experiential learning activities in schools. Teachers from various schools attended the workshop and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, Meenakshi Bhatia Mam, for her excellent arrangements and support in hosting such a fruitful workshop. The workshop proved to be a transformative experience, equipping educators with strategies to make classrooms more engaging, practical, and student-cantered.
