OVER 1500 runners will take
part in the Jhulelal Social
Reform Foundation’s Jhulelal
Runners Academy (JRA) organised 6th Jhulal Run on October 4
at Jhulelal Sports Ground,
behind Pyramid City, Jaripatka.
The run, which will be
held in various age
and distance categories, will be for participants above 15
years of age.
The run is going to
be held with an initiative to spread
awareness about cardiovascular diseases
(CVD) and promote a
healthier lifestyle.
This year’s theme is ‘Run For
Fitness, Run For A Social Cause,
Run For Girls’ Education’.
The races will be held in 3 kms,
5 kms, 10 kms and 21 kms.
Participants for 21 kms run
will have to report at the venue
at 5.30 am on October 4 and the
race will be flagged off at 6.30 am.
The 21km run will be flagged
off by Mahesh Dhamecha, Dr
Neena Sahu, Lokesh Vijay Kumar,
Kavita Vazirani.
The other races will be flagged
off by Dr Deepak Jeswani, Dr
Sunil Washimkar, Mahendra
Dholia, Nitin Jeswani, Sunder
Gopwani, Pankaj Agrawal,
Roshan, Dr Mahesh Fulwani, Dr
Rajesh Patil, Dr
Priyanka Lakhwani
Jeswani and Lalit
Ambwani.
All registered participants will get a
medal, T-shirt, goodie bag and refreshment. Exciting prizes
will be given to the
winners in the Timed
Category runs (10 kms
and 21 kms).
Deepak Ahuja is the Race
Director and is assisted by
Chandan Wadhwani, Pankaj
Sachani and Ritesh Dipani.
Registration can be done at
Dayanand Park, Jaripatka
between 8 am and 9 am.
