WHAT several countries in Europe are facing by way of a pseudo-social uprising is a problem of the continent’s own creation -- of leaders’ political ambitions under the guise of liberalism stretched to ridiculous limits over decades. For record, about 6-7 countries find their streets on fire, but may there be no mistake in understanding the graveness of the situation that is fast spreading in several more countries. And this has happened despite words of caution from many world leaders to their European counterparts. Now, with nobody else to be blamed for the problem, France, Italy, Albania, Spain, Portugal, Greece are cursing their fates with almost no solution in sight for the terrible demographic imbalance that has disturbed political and social governance in the continent. If a massive effort is not undertaken on an urgent basis collective, the whole of Europe will face the threat of going up in flames in the next some years. In other words, European governments will have to make a hard choice of being politically incorrect -- so that sanity in demographic numbers gets restored in a few years.

 

That may appear rather too far as a new kind of clash of civilisations is marauding Europe’s sense of social balance. But the process of massive correction needs to be launched immediately and collectively. The impending continental crisis will require a collective continental solution across countries. The social disturbance Europe is facing stems from a well-modulated international conspiracy operated through demographic migration from some mostly Islamic countries across the Mediterranean Sea. When the details of this mass-migration came to light several years ago, the world was aghast. Yet, some countries in Europe allowed those migrations for reasons they could never explain. The point of start of this mass-migration was initially Germany -- under Chancellor Ms. Angela Merkel. The germ spread fast to other countries and countries like France and the United Kingdom and Italy started facing increasing social disturbances that actually had no justification whatsoever.

 

The heightened sense of welfarism in Europe was willing to accommodate the initial numbers of Muslim migrants -- mostly men in their mid-twenties and mid-thirties. Good affirmative doles were enough for the migrants to live well at least to begin with. Yet, instead of identifying themselves with the welfare ethos of Europe, the migrants started violent agitations for no rhyme or reason. The current socio-political blaze in Europe is the outcome of that senseless violence Islamic mobs are unleashing everywhere. At the moment, 6-7 countries have been worst effected. In no time, more countries face a similar threat. When initial waves of mass-migrations came to light, world leaders such as Mr. Donald Trump and Mr. Narendra Modi cautioned their European counterparts to be extremely careful. But those good words fell on deaf ears, and the European continent now is reeling under the trouble whose solution is going to be very complex. There is nothing GenZ(ee) about this trouble in Europe -- which some elements in India are trying to paint. What is visible is a clear civilisational clash between Islamic politics against the European ethos. The entire issue is senseless. Now, the situation is threatening to go out of hand with clueless leaders searching for solution. This is the time for them to take a pause and avoid any decisions in haste.

 

They European leadership across countries must regroup itself as one solid block and respond to the challenge. They will also have to think of correcting communal birth rates whose imbalance is causing so much trouble. They will have to ensure that the Islamic community’s birth rate is brought down so that the game of numbers can be handled reasonably. The world now realises that Europe’s own oneupmanship is paying a dirty dividend to the continent.
