The Indian Air Force’s Sarang Helicopter Display Team interacted with middle and higher secondary school students at JN Pandey Government Higher Secondary School, Raipur.
The outreach programme was held during the team’s visit to Chhattisgarh for the Rajyotsava celebrations. Organised in co-ordination with Sateesh Nair, District Education Officer, Raipur, the interaction offered students an opportunity to engage with IAF personnel and learn about military aviation and career opportunities in IAF.
During the session, team members answered students’ questions on entry routes, eligibility criteria, educational qualifications and the range of career avenues available in the IAF. Sharing experiences from their professional journeys, the pilots highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, perseverance and dedication to the service of the nation. The interaction encouraged students to pursue their aspirations with confidence, strive for excellence and explore a future in the armed forces. It also helped deepen their understanding of the Indian Air Force’s role in safeguarding the nation.
