State Revenue Minister and senior BJP leader Chandrashekhar Bawankule has accepted full responsibility for the party’s defeat in the Nagpur Division Graduate Constituency Legislative Council election. “The entire responsibility for the defeat in Nagpur rests with me as I was the Election In-charge. Our party leaders, office-bearers and workers made sincere efforts. It would be unfair to say that anyone failed to work. However, despite these efforts, we could not secure victory. This means that something was lacking, and we need to identify it,” Bawankule said. Bawankule said the party would undertake a detailed assessment of voting patterns in different constituencies, the response of voters and various developments during the election.
