CG’S SINGAPORE VISIT DELIVERS, Rs 43,600 cr FDI, skilling MoU, global partnerships

THE Chhattisgarh delegation led
by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai
returned to Raipur today from
Singapore with Rs 43,600 crore
in FDI commitments, among the
largest the State has secured from
a single visit.
Chhattisgarh and Haryana
were the only two States nominated by the Ministry of External
Affairs (MEA), Government of
India, for the inaugural
Singapore-India Network for
Growth (SING) Forum 2026. In
just three days, the State secured
a Rs 41,750 crore Al-ready data
centre campus, signed a
skilling MoU with ITE
Education Services,
Singapore, and explored
partnerships with
Gardens by the Bay and
Mandai Wildlife Group.
The largest commitment came from
Singapore-headquartered Energy Capital Global
(ECG), which will develop a 100
MW Al-ready data centre campus in Chhattisgarh worth Rs
41,750 crore. Sunstream Green
Energy Pvt Ltd received Invitation
to Invest worth Rs 1,500 crore for
a 300 MW solar project
with battery storage.
Valency International Pte
Ltd, a global agribusiness
group operating in 22
countries, received an
Invitation to Invest worth
Rs 350 crore for an integrated Agro and Food
Processing and Export
Hub, building a farm-to-market
value chain in the State.
These investments open
opportunities across the board.
