Mahayuti holds numerical advantage across 11 distts

THE political arithmetic across 11 districts under the Amravati Division Teachers’and Nagpur Division Graduates’constituencies gives Mahayuti a substantial numerical advantage.With the ruling alliance and its ally accounting for 50 of the 62 representatives in the combined district-wise tally, against 12 of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). However,figures represent the broader political strength of the parties in the respective districts and not the electorate of the two Council constituencies.
 
The final outcome will also depend on mobilisation of registered teachers and graduates, candidate-specific support and the extent to which alliance votes are transferred to the official candidates. The district-wise tally providedby the parties puts the BJP at the top with 39 representatives,followed by Congress with eight,NCP (Ajit Pawar)with six, Shiv Sena (Shinde)with four and Shiv Sena (UBT) with four. Yuva Swabhiman has one representative,while NCP (Sharad Pawar) and MNS havenone. Thus,the BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde) and NCP (Ajit Pawar) together account for 49 representatives.
 
With Yuva Swabhiman included, Mahayuti tally rises to 50. Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT),mean while,account for 12, forming the MVAtally. Nagpur Graduates: BJP’s 26 against MVA’seight representatives NAGPUR Graduates’ Constituency comprises Nagpur,Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli.According to thedistrict-wise figures,BJP has 26 representativesin these six districts,while Congress has six, NCP (Ajit Pawar) three,Shiv Sena (Shinde) two and ShivSena (UBT) two.Yuva Swabhiman has one.
 
BJP’sdistribution is particularly notable: eight in Nagpur, four in Wardha, five in Chandrapur,three in Gondia, one in Bhandara and one in Gadchiroli. Congress has three in Nagpur and one each in Chandrapur,Bhandara and Gadchiroli. Thedistrict-wise figures show BJP with 17 representatives, NCP (AjitPawar) three,Shiv Sena (Shinde) two and Yuva Swabhiman one —giving the Mahayuti 23 representatives includingits ally. Congress has three representatives and ShivSena (UBT) two,giving the MVA five in the fivedistricts.
