BHOPAL is set to wake up to
clear, pleasant weather on
Thursday, as Madhya Pradesh
completes its transition into the
post-monsoon phase.
According to the latest bulletin
from the India Meteorological
Department (IMD), Met Centre
Bhopal, there is no warning for
both East and West Madhya
Pradesh on October 8. This marks
a calm turnaround after today’s
thunderstorm, lightning and
squall alert that was limited to
East MP. For the State capital, the
forecast remains ideal. Bhopal
will experience mostly sunny and
clear conditions with a maximum temperature of 33°C (93°F)
and a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
Winds will be light at 3 mph from
the north-northwest, with
humidity around 49%. Sunrise
will be at 06:14 AM and sunset
at 06:01 PM. The Air Quality Index
stands at 77, in the moderate category.
The southwest monsoon officially withdrew from the state on
October 3 after 100 days, bringing 908.4 mm rainfall, 4% below
normal. With its withdrawal, days
remain warm while nights are
turning cooler, signalling the
onset of winter.
With no rain expected and stable weather till October 13, as per
the seven-day outlook, Thursday
is perfect for outdoor plans.
