A man slapped another person inside the cabin of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone-I Rushikesh Singareddy at his office. Pratap Nagar police have registered a case against Aniket Dawle in connection with the incident. According to police, Pramod Gorkhede was called to the DCP’s office for preventive action in connection with a non-cognisable (NC) complaint filed against him by Dawle at MIDC police station around two months ago. Dawle had accused Gorkhede of abusing him. As part of the preventive action, Gorkhede was called to execute a bond to maintain peace.

 

Dawle was also called to the office as the complainant in the case so that the dispute could be resolved and the matter would not escalate. However, during the meeting inside the DCP's cabin, Dawle allegedly slapped Gorkhede. The incident was reportedly captured on CCTV cameras installed in the office. Confirming the incident, DCP Rushikesh Singareddy said, “Yesterday, the incident was happened. One person named Pramod Gorkhede was called for preventive action as one NC was registered against him by Aniket Dawle. Pramod was called to the office and, at the same time, the complainant in the NC, Aniket, also came to the office. In the cabin, Aniket Dawle slapped Pramod. We have registered a case agasint against Aniket Dawle.”
