Dr Mimansha Patel, daughter of Dr G D Patel and a resident of Sarkanda in Bilaspur has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oral Pathology and Microbiology at the convocation ceremony of Adani Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University), Wardha, Maharashtra, formerly known as Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research. She completed her research under guidance of Dr Alka Hande, investigating DNA methylation patterns in the saliva of tobacco users at high risk for oral potentially malignant disorders.
