Koradi police have registered a case against the principal and a class teacher of Narayana Vidyalaya in Bokhara for keeping 15 students away from an examination over unpaid school fees. The students, studying in Classes I to IV, were denied permission to appear for an examination on October 28. Instead, they were made to sit in the school library and were treated in a humiliating manner. According to Senior Police Inspector Ganesh Dhumal, the parents had not paid the second instalment of the school fees. The school administration informed them about the pending dues. The parents requested some more time, citing financial difficulties.

However, on October 28, the school allegedly stopped 15 students from appearing for the examination. The students later returned home and told their parents about the incident. Angry parents approached the school administration and sought an explanation. However, they did not receive a satisfactory response. They then approached the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), which conducted an inquiry. Following the inquiry, a 40-year-old parent lodged a complaint with Koradi police. Police have registered a case under the provisions of JJ Act and RTE Act. Further investigation is underway.
