SB CITY College Cricket Academy’s Team A won the VCA U-19 Inter-Academy One-Day Tournament on Sunday.
In the final, played at the VCA’s Kalamna ground, SB City boys defeated SGR Cricket Academy’s Team A by 107 runs.
SB City boys made a mammoth 326-9 in 50 overs with opener Randitya Singh stroking a fine 102 off 118 balls and Yash Pawar making 64. The duo shared a 132-run partnership for the second wicket.
SGR boys lacked conviction in their chase after losing their first four wickets for 52 runs. A 52-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Mohd Faiz (49) and Aryan Singh (31) briefly raised SGR’s hopes but fall of wickets at regular intervals sealed their fate.

Randitya was named the Player if the Match.
