PRAVEEN Nikase of Nagpur will lead Maharashtra men’s team in the 14th Senior National Para Sitting Volleyball Championship to be held in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh from February 25-28.
The four-day national competition will be organised by the Paralympic Committee of India and the Para Volleyball Federation of India.
Maharashtra men’s and women’s teams were declared recently, informs Rahul Lekurwale, Secretary, Para Volleyball Association, Maharashtra. Both teams left for the venue on Tuesday.
Para Volleyball Association’s Dinesh Yadav, Nutan Umredkar, Dhananjay Upasani, Naresh Bagde, Amol Marotkar, Sanjay Gupta, Raja Paunikar, Sridhar Palthe, Janak Shahu and others wished them success.
