CENTRE Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, was conferred with a prestigious honour by the District Sports Officer, Nagpur, under the State Incentive Scheme of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Maharashtra, in recognition of the school’s outstanding performance in district-level sports competitions. The school secured first rank for its exceptional achievements in the Under-14 boys and girls categories for the academic years 2022–23 and 2023–24, as well as in the Under-17 boys and girls categories for the academic year 2023–24, reflecting consistent excellence and participation across multiple sporting events.

 

The ceremony was held at Collector Office, where the school was presented with a certificate, memento and a cash award. The honour was received on behalf of the school by the Principal Perveen Cassad, along with the Head of the Sports Department Chetak Khedikar at the hands of the District Collector Dr Vipin Itankar and District Sports Officer Pallavi Dhatrak. The management, Cassad, Vice-Principal Purnima Singh, School Co-ordinator Shupriya Apte and the staff congratulated sports teachers Rahul Neware, Ganesh Bagade, Kunal Kota, Chetan Samrit, Swati Bhalerao, Madhuri Bhagat, Rajni Dharmik, Mehaboob Ansari, Pritam Pinjarkar, Satyajeet Yerne, Kiran Pathak, and Rupal Chambole, coaches and students who brought pride to the institution.
