CHHATTISGARH has qualified for the semifinal of the Men’s Under-23 Col C K Nayudu Multi Day Trophy 2025-26 based on the first innings lead over Rajasthan in the drawn match played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur on Tuesday. Already in good form, Chhattisgarh will have a face-off against Tamil Nadu in semifinal clash in Raipur to be played from march 1 to 4. On the fourth and final day of the match, Rajasthan scored 84 runs fort he loss of 5 wickets in 11 overs trailing by overall 305 runs.

 

However, Chhattisgarh had the advantage of first innings lead of 105 runs that ultimately became the deciding factor to qualify for semifinal. Chhattisgarh scoring 286 runs in their first innings while Rajasthan managed 181 runs. With the match ending in a draw, Chhattisgarh will face Tamil Nadu in the semifinal in Raipur from March 1. Chhattisgarh’s Mayank Verma was declared Player of the Match for his brilliant batting in both innings.
