TOP seed Aaryan Kirtane, third seed Rishik K, fourth seed Pranav Gaikwad and sixth seed Archan Pathak complete the semi-finals line-up in the boys singles of MSLTA-NDHTA All India Ranking Super Series Under-16 Tennis Tournament on Wednesday. In the boys singles quarter-finals, Aaryan went past Uday Reddy 6-2, 6-2. Rishik beat Yadnesh Totade 6-1, 6-1. Archan defeated Yug Singhvi 6-1, 6-2 and fourth seed Pranav Gaikwad got a scare from Dhruv Mor in the second set but rallied hard to prevail in three sets 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-1. In the girls singles semi-finals, top seed Honey Jumani had very little resistance from eighth seed Parinitha V and won 6-1, 6-0. In the other semi-final, fourth seed Aditri Singh caused a small upset by beating second seed Falak Mehta in a very long match of three sets with the score being 6-4, 5-7, 6-2.

 

In the boys doubles quarter-finals, top seed pair of Aaryan & Jeevith had a cake walk over Taksheel & Ansh 6-0, 6-0. Nagpur pair Pranav Gaikwad & Dhruv Mor (seed 3) beat another Nagpur pair Neev Bhansali & Shon Ugale 6-1, 6-2. Anagh Agrawal & Sushant S (seed 4) beat Nagpur pair of Nirmay Jambhulkar & Atharv Shukul 6-2, 6-3 and second seed pair Uday Y Reddy & Rishik K from Hyderabad beat Telangana pair Yona Manda & Akshaj Padma 6-3, 6-4 to complete the semi-finals line-up. In the girls doubles semi-finals, top seed pair of Honey Jumani & Falak Mehta beat fourth seed pair Priyadarshini Parte & Devashree Dagwar 6-1, 6-1 whereas third seed pair Anika Nair & Parinitha V beat second seed Aditri Singh & Surmayee Sathe 6-1, 6-1. The girls singles and doubles finals; and boys singles and doubles semi-finals will be played on Thursday.
