FOR the first time in history of the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, three players — Kunal Nagar, Siddhesh Kantode and Devansh Thakkar have been selected in the West Zone team for the Vizzy Trophy. The players will participate in the tournament to be held at the Goa Cricket Association from March 1 to March 7. These players were selected on the basis of their excellent performance in the West Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament held at Saurashtra University Rajkot in January and February.

 

For this remarkable achievement,Vice-Chancellor Dr Manali Kshirsagar, Registrar Dr Raju Hiwase, Finance and Accounts Officer Harish Paliwal, Director Physical Education and Sports Dr Sambhaji Bhosale, BCCI Level 2 Coach Prashant Bambal, team manager Sanjay Agashe, Senate Member Dr Sanjay Chaudhary as well as members of the Physical Education and Sports Board and cricket selection committee congratulated the players and wished them good luck.
