‘BharatiyaGPT in ‘Mann Ki Baat’
BaratiyaGPT received national attention when the Prime Minister presented the AI technology during the 131st episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, where he highlighted the breakthrough innovation showcased at the summit. He noted that the high-tech innovation was rooted deeply in India’s knowledge traditions illustrated how Artificial Intelligence could be used to preserve and modernize ancient civilizational heritage.
Referring to ImmverseAI’s BharatiyaGPT, the Prime Minister described a multi-stage technological pipeline demonstrated using the classical medical text like ‘Sushruta Samhita’. The first stage involved AI-driven imaging to enhance and restore fragile manuscript pages. This was followed by advanced Indic OCR and Handwritten Text Recognition (HTR) systems that converted the restored images into structured, machine-readable text. The knowledge was then delivered through an AI-powered avatar interface enabling interactive engagement with the original source, supported by multilingual translation capabilities to make the content accessible across Indian and global audiences.
Through this the Prime Minister emphasised India’s vision of using modern
technology to safeguard
and scale its civilisational knowledge. BharatiyaGPT™, Modi noted, represents how innovation can bridge heritage and the future, ensuring Bharat's ancient timeless wisdom remains accessible to humanity.
