IN A significant move to bolster the economic landscape of the region, a high-level delegation from the Vidarbha Economic Development (VED) Council, led by President Rina Sinha, met Sanjay Meena, Chairman of Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) and Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT), recently. Joining President Rina were distinguished council members including Rajeev Aggarwal, Bunty Rawal, Ajay Singh, and Varun Vijawargi, all of whom emphasised the necessity of a global outlook for the city’s expansion. Sanjay Meena assured the delegation that the NMRDA and NIT would explore the feasibility of these proposals to ensure that Naveen Nagpur becomes a primary destination for foreign direct investment.
