(NMC) will organise Pink Marathon on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Yashwant Stadium on March 8. Mayor Nita Thakre unveiled the logo at her office and appealed the citizens to participate in large numbers. Ruling party leader Narendra (Balya) Borkar, corporators Pradeep Pohane, Durgeshwari Kosekar and NMC Sports Officer Dr Piyush Ambulkar were also present.

 

The marathon will be held in three groups — 3 km for women under 16 years of age, 5 km for the general group and a special Pink Run of 2 km. Registration for the competition is to be done on the Google link https://nmc-pink-run-form.emergent.host that is available on the website of the municipal corporation.
