The Madhya Pradesh Government has officially appointed Shubhranjan Sen, a senior officer of the Indian Forest Service (IFS), as the Head of the State Forest Force (HoFF). An official order to this effect was issued by the Government on Saturday. According to the Government order,
 
Sen’s appointment will come into effect from March 1, 2026. He is a seasoned officer with extensive experience in the forest management and conservation strategies within the State. Sen has been serving as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF-Wildlife) at the forest headquarters in Bhopal. His transition to the top post is seen as a strategic move to streamline forest administration and wildlife protection across Madhya Pradesh.
