BCCI honoured Vidarbha stars Harsh Dubey and Yash Rathod, and senior umpire Ulhas Gandhe for their outstanding performance in domestic cricket in the 2024-25 season at its Annual Awards Function — Naman 2024-25 —in New Delhi on Sunday.
Dubey received the Madhavrao Scindia Award for emerging as the highest wicket-taker in Vidarbha’s victorious Ranji Trophy campaign in 2024-25. Harsh captured a record 69 wickets in the Elite category.
He also bagged the prestigious Lala Amarnath Award for being adjudged as the Best All-Rounder in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season. He was honoured at the hands of India coach Gautam Gambhir and former India star and ex-BCCI President Roger Binny.
Rathod received the Madhavrao Scindia Award for emerging as highest run-getter in Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season. He accumulated a whopping 960 runs. Legendary Sunil Gavaskar gave away the medal to the southpaw middle-order batter.
Gandhe took home the Best Umpire Award for his outstanding performance in domestic cricket in the 2024-25 season.
