The morning assembly at Delhi Public School Lava, turned into a vibrant celebration of mathematics as students enthusiastically commemorated Pi Day, in honour of the mathematical constant p (3.14). Through their engaging presentation, they highlighted how Pi exists in many everyday objects such as wheels, clocks, pizzas, and bangles, making mathematics relevant to daily life. Adding a reflective touch to the assembly, Aarohi presented the Thought for the Day, emphasising that mathematics is not merely about numbers and formulas but about understanding the world around us.

The assembly also featured a lively news segment by Ayana Firdaus, who shared updates from international, national, sports and school events. The highlight of the assembly was a humorous skit titled ‘Where is My Pi?’ performed by the students. Through an entertaining storyline involving a hungry student searching for ‘Pi,’along with characters like a pizza seller, a mechanic and a math teacher, the skit creatively illustrated how Pi appears in everyday circular objects. The confident presentations and enthusiastic performances made the Pi Day assembly both informative and memorable.
