Collector Gaurav Singh chaired a time-bound review meeting on Tuesday to assess the progress of various departmental activities, with a focus on call center operations, pending revenue cases, and DEAF and inoperative bank accounts. During the meeting, the Collector directed officials to take strict action against the sale of gutkha, tobacco, and other intoxicants near schools, colleges, educational institutions, and hospitals. He emphasised the need for vigilant enforcement to safeguard public health, particularly around sensitive locations.
 
Reviewing administrative performance, Gaurav Singh instructed departments to ensure the timely disposal of pending revenue cases. He also stressed that grievances received through the call center must be addressed within stipulated timelines, along with other pending complaints. The Collector further directed officials to prioritise the resolution of DEAF (Depositor Education and Awareness Fund) and inoperative bank account cases, ensuring completion within the prescribed timeframe. The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Kirtiman Singh Rathore and ADM Umashankar Bande, along with other district-level officers.
