Shravani Mahila Mandal, Manish Nagar, felicitated women with outstanding achievements as part of its annual initiative and honoured snake rescuer Chaithali Bhasme for her contribution to society. The organisation recognised her efforts in protecting people from poisonous snakes and rescuing them safely.

 

The committee selected Chaithali Bhasme for this year’s honour, highlighting her work in environmental protection and nature conservation. Along with her rescue work, she has been serving poor, needy, disabled and destitute elderly women and children selflessly through Manglya Foundation. Former Mayor Nandatai Jichkar felicitated her. The event was attended by dignitaries including President Shubhangi Kamble, Nikhil Gaurkar, Corporator Vishakha Mohod, Ramesh Bhandari, Pooja Bhugavkar and others.
