MOHOTA, led by Basant Mohota, S Chhajed, R Deshpande, S Roy and Anilkumar Mohota, emerged champions in AN Roy Memorial Annual Duplicate Bridge Tournament organised by Vidarbha Bridge Association in their sports complex at Shankar Nagar. Playwell, consisting of father and son duo of Raja and Amit Rewatkar and Kumra brothers Neeraj and Sanjeev, finished runners-up.

 

More than 50 bridge players from Vidarbha region participated in the two days event. In IMP pairs event, competing among 20 pairs in 24 deals contest, Rewatkars clinched top honours. A Patharia and C Nahar duo walked away with second position. Samir Roy and Amit Rewatkar were the tournament directors for this brain game. Attractive cash prizes were awarded to all the winners.
