SKIPPER Mayank Tare came out with an all-round show to help Reshimbagh Gymkhana ‘A’ beat Citi Gymkhana ‘A’ by five wickets in VCA-organised U-14 Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament. Electing to bat, Citi were all out for 143 in 34.1 overs. Captain Mayank Sonune top-scored with 28.

 

Varun Lambat and Tare took four and three wickets respectively. Suyog Khandale took two while Lawanya Takalikar picked one wicket. Opening the innings for Reshimbagh, Tare made 45 with eight fours. Jashwin Nayak made unbeaten 33 as the team reached 144 for five wickets in 25.3 overs. Sonune took four wickets for 38 runs. Vivaan Pandey chipped in with one wicket.
