The Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die on Friday after 15 sittings from February 23 to March 20. Eight bills were discussed and passed during the session. After completing the day’s listed business, Presiding Officer Dharamlal Kaushik adjourned the House sine die and read a message from Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh. The Chair expressed gratitude to the treasury bench and opposition for ensuring the session’s smooth conduct.
 
86 questions raised across 14 sittings, with 108 hours of discussions, 2,924 question notices received, including 1,495 starred and 1,429 unstarred, 603 calling attention notices received, of which 220 were accepted, 244 adjournment motion notices received, 137 Zero Hour notices received, with 40 accepted and 31 rejected, 370 petitions received, of which 118 were accepted and 228 rejected, 31 private member bills received, with 7 accepted; one passed and 24 rejected. The next session is likely in the third or fourth week of July. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kedar Kashyap thanked the Chair, Assembly secretariat staff, and security personnel for the smooth proceedings.
