The second edition of the Nagpur Film Festival will be held from March 27 to March 29 at the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s (RTMNU) Jamnalal Bajaj Campus. The festival will be inaugurated by Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, famously known for his roles in ‘Highway’, ‘Swatantra Veer Sawarkar’ and other films; along with MLA Adv Ashish Jaiswal and RTMNU Vice-Chancellor Dr Manali Kshirsagar. The concluding ceremony will be graced by filmmaker Om Raut and Mayor Neeta Thakre.
 
Organised by the Nagpur Chalchitra Foundation in collaboration with RTMNU, Maharashtra Chitrapat Rangbhumi, and Cultural Vikas Mahamandal, the festival will feature 189 short film screenings selected from 304 entries received across 20 states and 21 languages. Various other eminent Bollywood personalities including Shreyas Puranik, Yogesh Soman, Sameer Satija, among others will grace the event across three days.
 
The festival will also include six masterclasses (Dialogue Writing for Cinema, Music Composition, Story Writing, The Art of Advertising, Script Writing for Cinema, Editing for Cinema), two panel discussions on ‘The Content Journey’ and ‘Women Behind Cinema’, an AI filmmaking workshop, and various other activities.
