Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday extended warm birthday greetings to Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, lauding his leadership and developmental initiatives in the State. In his message, the Prime Minister praised Dr Yadav for undertaking key initiatives aimed at the holistic development of Madhya Pradesh. He noted that under Dr Yadav’s leadership, the State has been witnessing continuous progress across sectors. Modi also wished the Chief Minister a long life and good health.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his heartfelt greetings, stating that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Madhya Pradesh is achieving new milestones in development and public welfare. He prayed to Baba Mahakal for the Chief Minister’s good health and longevity.
Meanwhile, marking the
occasion in a compassionate manner, Chief Minister Dr Yadav celebrated his birthday with Divyang children at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal. Children from various institutions, including Asha Niketan Deaf Higher Secondary School, Aarushi Sanstha, Government Higher Secondary School for the Visually and Hearing Impaired, and Umang Gauravdeep Welfare Society, were invited to the event. The children, representing diverse disabilities such as visual, hearing, intellectual, and multiple impairments, interacted warmly with the Chief Minister and extended their wishes in unique ways. A visually impaired student, Falguni Purohit, sang a song to greet him on the occasion.
Dr Yadav distributed gifts among the children, including a piano, art kits, and sweets. Senior officials and representatives of organisations working in the field of disability welfare were also present at the ceremony.
