THE Vidarbha Economic Development (VED) Council, in collaboration with Maha Metro, organised the ‘VED Metro Connect,’ an impactful interactive session held, recently at Narayani Memorial Hall. Speaking at the session, Rina Sinha, President of VED Council, emphasised that Nagpur’s MajhiMetro represents a transformative shift in urban identity and environmental stewardship. Mahesh Moroney, Joint General Manager, Maha Metro, provided an in-depth look at the system’s diverse services. Shiv Kumar Rao, Past President of the VED Council, delivered a compelling case for the Metro as the definitive solution for Nagpur’s transit challenges. Parag Date, President of the Rotary Club of Nagpur, highlighted the multifaceted benefits of the Metro. The session was moderated by Aliasger Wagh, Joint Secretary, VED, while Aatish Jindal, Joint Secretary, VED introduced the speakers. Amit Yenurkar, Joint Secretary, VED delivered a keynote on the Metro’s role in modernising Nagpur. VED Council officially released the latest edition of its ‘Monthly Progress Pulse’ magazine.
