Resting all confusions about admissions of Class XI, the State Education Department has made it clear that the process to be conducted online. School Education Director Mahesh Palkar has asked all the Deputy Directors and Education Officers to have high preparedness as far as conducting admission process is concerned. The department has made it clear that only those who want to take admission to State Board should apply. The admissions will be conducted on merit basis till the last student gets admission. It will be done online.
 
Students will get admissions through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) or through quota seats. Students will have to register themselves on admission portal. They are expected to fill up application form 1 and verify it. In next phase, students will have to submit option form where they will have to write college or school options where they wish to take admission. Once colleges are alloted, students will have to confirm their admissions. If no allotment is done, then they should go for the next process of filling the form. 
 
85,370 seats remained vacant last year
Nagpur region witnessed vacancy of 85,370 of 2,21,315 total intake. 1,35,945 admissions were registered. In Bhandara with 21,220 intake, 6,981 seats remained vacant. In Chandrapur 13,162 seats were not filled. The total intake was 37,400. In Gadchiroli 5,499 vacancy was registered out of 15,430. Of the total intake of 24,690 in Gondia 16,268 seats were filled. In Nagpur 57,096 seats were filled while 41,879 remained vacant of the 98,975 total intake. In Wardha 9,427 seats remained vacant where the total intake was 23,690.
