In a significant medical milestone for the region, Arihant Multispeciality Hospital has successfully performed its first corneal transplant at Arihant Netralaya, marking the beginning of organ and tissue transplantation services at the hospital. The complex corneal transplant surgery was successfully conducted by a specialized ophthalmology team led by Dr Pallak Kusumgar Shah and Dr Saurabh, bringing new hope to patients suffering from corneal blindness. The recipient, a 60-year-old male patient, had been battling corneal blindness for the past five years.
