Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Deolapar was honoured with the ‘Best Farming Practices’ award for its dedicated efforts in promoting organic, natural, and cow-based farming. The award was presented on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, by Dr Ajay Singh Rajput, Regional Director, Regional Centre for Organic and Natural Farming. Padmesh Gupta, the President of Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra received the award. The event was held at NDRF Academy auditorium, Civil Lines and Brigadier R Sathyanarayanan, Director, NDRF Academy was the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted the important relationship between agriculture and nation-building. This award is the recognition of Kendra for its outstanding work in the field of natural / chemical-free farming. This honour is conferred to promote sustainable, eco-friendly, and health-oriented agricultural practices.
 
In his acceptance speech, Gupta stated that, India is an agrarian nation, and cattle along with cow-based agricultural techniques, form its very lifeline. He highlighted that Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra is continuously developing and providing practical rural solutions through scientific innovations based on cow dung and cow urine. Whether it is nano urea, water purification using enzymes derived from cow dung, electricity generation through bull-driven turbines, or pest control products made from Panchagavya, the Go Vigyan team has always remained at the forefront. Gupta further emphasised that this award is not merely a recognition but a source of inspiration for farmers, researchers, and policymakers to adopt natural, sustainable, and chemical-free farming practices.
 
The honour received by Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra stands as a testament to its consistent efforts and the successful integration of traditional Indian knowledge with scientific approach. He also expressed confidence that such initiatives will continue in the future.
 
On this occasion, the cow-based chemical-free farming initiatives, farmer training programmes, and awareness activities conducted by Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra were highly appreciated. The dignitaries present on the occasion were Rajesh Kumar, Chief Engineer, CPWD; Dr V M Yellorkar, Principal Scientist, Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Prabhat Kanoje, Energy Expert (MP). Members of Go Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Satish Mohod, and Chief Executive Officer Dr Manoj Tatvadi were also present at the event. Dr Swapnil Magar from the Regional Centre for Organic and Natural Farming compered the programme.
