INDIAN Gymkhana registered their third successive victory in the ongoing Dr MN Dorairajan Invitational Three-Day Cricket Tournament organised by Vidarbha Cricket Association. After suffering an opening game loss against Ministerial Services Sports Club, Indian Gymkhana bounced back in style with three straight wins. They beat VMV by 34 runs and then bettered their performance with an innings and 215 runs win over Advocate XI in their third game. They kept the momentum going and thrashed SGR Sports Academy by an innings and 121 runs to take second spot in Group A behind MSSC. SGR Sports Academy were restricted at 210 in their first innings, thanks to fine spells by Aditya Khilote and Devansh Thakkar who took four and three wickets respectively at Central Railways ground. In return, Neel Athaley (114) and Thakkar (114) scored a century each as they declared at 508 for nine. This was Thakkar’s second consecutive century in the tournament. In the second innings, SGR Sports Academy could manage only 177 in 47.4 overs with Adi Bajaj scoring 70. Khilote rattled SGR’s innings with 7-64 thus helping Indian Gymkhana to an innings win. In another Group A match at Gurunanak Pharmacy ground, MSSC took the top position with an innings and 151 runs win over Eleven Star. Centuries from Gaurav Nikam and Shivam Deshmukh helped MSSC post first innings total of 450-6. They then bundled out Eleven Star at 168 in 63.3 overs thus taking a lead of 282 runs. Asked to follow-on, Eleven Star performed badly again scoring 131 runs in 36.1 overs.
 
Mandar Mahale, who scored 51 in the first innings, took nine wickets in the match with five coming in first innings and four in the second. Sooraj Rai too bowled well for his seven scalps in the match. In another match which finished in two days, All India Reporter defeated MRCC by an innings and 131 runs. It was a fine display of batting from Vaibhav Chouksey (135) and Daksh Yadav (123) which took AIR to 402. MRCC were all out for 184. Following on, they could muster only 87 with Kaustubh Salve (4-37), Sanyog Bhagwat (3-16) and Satyam Bhoyar (3-4) taking the wickets for AIR. Eleven Star CC 1st innings 168 all out in 63.3 overs (Malhar Dosi 38, Kush Khandelwal 51; Mandar Mahale 5-30, Sooraj Rai 3-48). Eleven Star CC 2nd innings (f/o) 131 all out in 36.1 overs (Mandar Mahale 4-48, Sooraj Rai 4-43) Result: MSSC won by an innings and 151 runs At Central Railway Ground: SGR Sports Academy 1st innings 210 all out 60.2 overs (Aayush Rajdev 89, Nirmik Charde 30; Aditya Khilote 4-76, Devansh Thakkar 3-36).
