The Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA), through its Entrepreneurship Forum and Agro & Rural Development & Food Processing Forum, successfully organized a joint felicitation programme titled “Krishi Shakti Samman – Celebrating Women Leaders in Agriculture” recently at MIDC Udyam Sabhagruh, Udyog Bhawan, Nagpur. On this occasion, five distinguished women entrepreneurs were felicitated. Under the Women Entrepreneurship in Agriculture Sector, Sangita Timande of Animal Feed & Poultry, Butibori, Ashwini Mandape of Parmita Dal Mill, Umrer, and Vaijayanti Gokhale of Farm Fresh were honoured.

 

Yashoda Pise of Ekatama FPO, Mouda was felicitated, while under the Start-up Category, Ashwini Mangesh Bende of Valni received recognition. Dr Archana Kadu, Project Director of ATMA, Nagpur, was chief guest. Om Jajodia, Chairman of VIA Agro & Rural Development & Food Processing Forum; Shachi Mallick, Convener of Agro Forum; Dr Anita Rao, Chairman of Entrepreneurship Forum, and others were present.
