ARYAN Deogade and Akshay Wankhede slammed a fifty each as Nav Yuvak Friends Sporting Cricket Club drubbed UCO Bank Sports and Recreation Club by 65 runs in the Guzder League C Division T20 Tournament on Thursday.
Nav Yuvak Friends Sporting Cricket Club posted a huge 210 for seven in 20 overs with No 3 batter Deogade hitting 52 runs from 32 deliveries with six hits to the fence at Citi Gymkhana ground.
This was after Nav Yuvak Friends Sporting Cricket Club lost both the openers Smit Chaware (2) and Lalit Pashine (1) in the first over bowled by Saaransh Harwani.
Pranjal Gode (29) and Deogade then stitched a crucial fourth wicket partnership of 52 runs in 34 balls to steady their ship.
Captain Wankhede then clobbered UCO Bank bowlers to all parts of the field hitting 60 from 28 deliveries. His knock included nine boundaries and three towering sixes. Rajdeep Soni’s 15-ball 29 and Krunal Deshkar’s unbeaten 27 from 11 deliveries took Nav Yuvak’s score past 200.
For UCO Bank, Harwani, Anish Paralikar and captain Arjun Yadav took two wickets each.
In reply, UCO Bank could score 145 for five in stipulated 20 overs.
Aniket Shukla (20 from 23 deliveries), Priyansh Gurudiwan (25 from 25) and Piyush Narawade (23 from 17) all got starts but could not convert them into big scores.
Captain Yadav waged a lone battle with 22-ball 42 which had two fours and three sixes. Lalit Pashine was the most successful bowler for Nav Yuvak with three wickets while Pranjal Gode and Krunal Deshkar took one each.

RESHIMBAGH Cricket Club crushed Fortune Cricket Club by 70 runs at the SB City ground.
Reshimbagh posted 134 for five in 20 overs thanks to little cameos from middle order batsmen.
Openers Anish Gedam (20) and Naksh Dhole (17) gave a sedate start to Reshimbagh with 31 runs. But they lost some quick wickets.
Reetesh Rewaskar (40; 36b, 5x4) and captain Abhishek Khadse (37; 34b, 3x4, 1x6) batted well after Reshimbagh were 51-4 by 9th over.
For Fortune CC, skipper Priyanshu Sakore was the most successful bowler with four wickets from his quota of four overs.
In return, Reshimbagh bundled out Fortune for 64 runs in 18.2 overs with captain Khadse and Ashilesh Wagde taking three wickets each conceding nine and 10 runs respectively from their quota of four overs.
For Fortune, only Aleen Ate (14), Shaurya Shendre (15) and Kalash Deosthale (15) could score in double digits.
