their campaigns on a
winning note on the
opening day of Nagpur
District Basketball
Association (NDBA)
organised Inter-Club
Junior (U-18)
Championship.
The tournament is
being played at
RTMNU’s basketball
courts in Ravi Nagar.
A total of 18 teams
including 12 boys and
six girls are participating in the selection
meet.
In the boys category,
Phoenix rode on Jayesh
Tambe’s excellent performance as they went
on to beat NSCA 52-19.
In the girls category,
DKM
had no difficulty in
defeating PBG 59-7.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated
by Vice-President of
NDBA Hemant
Balbudhe.
