SANSKARDHANI is set to
observe a grand religious gathering as preparations for the
ensuing Shri Ram Katha enter
the final stage. State Public
Works Department Minister
Rakesh Singh inspected the
event venue at Ayurved College
ground, Gwarighat.
Speaking on the occasion, the
PWD Minister said the entire city
is expected to come together
for the Shri Ram Katha to be
delivered by Jagadguru Swami
Rambhadracharya. He added
that the event will be organised
as per the cultural stature of
Sanskardhani.
The Shri Ram Katha will be
organised from April 5 to April
13. During the inspection, Singh
was accompanied by BJP
District President Ratnesh
Sonkar and organising committee members.
Senior administrative officials including
Collector Raghvendra Singh,
Municipal Commissioner
Ramprakash Ahirwar,
Additional SP Pallavi Shukla and
SDM Anurag Singh were also
present and reviewed the
arrangements. Senior officials
of district administration,
Jabalpur Municipal
Corporation (JMC) and police
department were instructed to
ensure smooth conduction and
necessary facilities for devotees. Under the on-going preparations, a meeting of women
volunteers was organised by
Samrasta Seva Sangathan to
assign responsibilities for various arrangements. A large
number of women participated in the meeting and were given specific duties related to the
event religious event.
