By Bhavana ‘Aparajita’ Shukla Like bureaucratic system, this time, the Home Department in the State has transferred and assigned key role to top cops at divisional level. officers of the DG, Special DG, and ADG ranks have been appointed as divisional in-charges across all divisions of the State aiming to further strengthening law and order situation in the state in view of upcoming crucial task of implementation of Uniform Civil Code etc. IPS officers were entrusted with new duties to several division including, Bhopal, Ujjain, Chambal, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Sagar, and Shahdol.

 

The officers have been assigned their new postings taking into account their experience and current operational requirements.It can be said that in the line with following the Additional Chief Secretaries role, the State Government has now deployed officers of the Special DG and ADG ranks at the divisional level within the Police Department. These officers will bear the responsibility of reviewing the law and order situation at the divisional-level. Furthermore, these officers will be responsible for overseeing law and order within their respective divisions, operating and in addition to the Inspectors General (IGs) currently posted at the range level. As per the order below officers have been deployed to their respective divisions.
