More than 300 members of the Vigilance Committee from 36 districts of Maharashtra participated in this workshop. Representing the GJC at the event were Chairman Rajesh Rokde; Vice Chairman Avinash Gupta; and Past Chairman Nitin Khandelwal. In her address, Chitra Wagh directed that the State-level Vigilance Committee should visit every district, meet with local police officials, and provide information regarding the circular in writing.

The primary objective of the workshop was to discuss the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Vigilance Committee and to provide comprehensive information regarding the circular issued by the Maharashtra Government for jewelers. Rajesh Rokade expressed his gratitude to the government, characterizing it as both pro-development and pro-business.
