To ensure 100% saturation of health programs and to fix accountability of every institution head for the progress in their respective blocks, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Naveen Kothari chaired a district-level review meeting at Swami Vivekananda auditorium, Government Seth Govinddas District Hospital on Saturday.
The meeting was conducted in two separate sessions to ensure a detailed evaluation of various healthcare initiatives across the district.
CMHO Dr Kothari conducted a point-by-point review of all National Health Programs, emphasizing the priorities including progress on HPV vaccination campaign and routine immunization schedules, management of high-risk pregnancies and improvement of neonatal health services and 100-day Nikshay Camp campaign for TB
elimination and screening for Sickle Cell Anemia.
He also reviewed the timely data entry on ‘Anmol 2.0’, mandatory attendance through Sarthak App and resolution of grievances on the CM Helpline and performance audits of Ayushman Yojana and HOPE program. During the sessions, Dr. Kothari issued stern instructions to the Block Medical Officers (BMOs) and heads of health institutions showing low achievement rates. He mandated regular monitoring and immediate progress in health service delivery to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every citizen. The meeting was attended by Dr. Vinita Uppal (DHO), Dr. Sarika Dubey, NCD Nodal Officer & In-charge DPM, Dr. Vinod Gupta, District Immunization Officer, Dr. Amjad Khan, Urban Nodal Officer and District Media Officer, Ajay Kureel. Representatives from Urban Primary Health Centers, Sanjivani Clinics, CBMOs, BPMs and BCMs from all blocks were also present.
