A 26-year-old woman, Nikita Vishwakarma, allegedly died by suicide at her Maruti Nagar residence under Ashoka Garden police limits. Working for an online firm, she was found hanging on Friday morning. In the absence of a suicide note, authorities are analysing digital footprints to determine the cause.

 

Nikita had been working from home for the past two months. Family members noted she frequently worked late; on Thursday, she was active on her laptop until midnight. The tragedy was discovered the following when she failed to emerge from her room. A team from Ashoka Garden police and forensic experts (FSL) inspected the scene. While no note was found, investigators are exploring professional stress and personal motives. Police have seized her mobile phone and laptop for forensic examination.
