In a celebration of academic brilliance that highlighted the city’s performance in the MP Board Class 10 results, Himanshi Dhakad has emerged as the Bhopal district topper. Himanshi secured an exceptional 99.4% marks, earning her the third position in the State merit list and the top rank within the capital city. Her historic success sparked widespread celebrations, drawing the personal attention of the state leadership. Cabinet Minister Vishwas Sarang personally visited Himanshi’s residence in Aishbagh on Wednesday to honour her achievement. During the visit, the Minister blessed the young scholar and praised her disciplined approach toward her studies. Recognising her potential and the need for modern educational tools, Sarang promised to gift her a laptop to facilitate her higher education. Upon learning that Himanshi aspires to crack the UPSC Civil Services and join the bureaucracy, the Minister assured her of the Government’s full support. “Himanshi’s success is a moment of pride for the Narela constituency and all of Bhopal. Her journey is a guiding light for millions of daughters across Madhya Pradesh, proving that perseverance can turn any goal into reality,” Sarang remarked.

Reflecting on the broader board results, Minister Sarang expressed delight over the performance of girls, who have consistently outperformed boys in both Classes 10th and 12th. He noted that these results coincide with a national push for women’s empowerment, including the landmark 33% reservation policy in legislative bodies. He emphasised that the State’s commitment to education is designed to make women economically, socially, and politically independent. Sarang attributed the improved pass percentages, approximately 76% in Class 12th, to the systemic overhaul of school infrastructure under the current administration. He cited models like the Sandipani schools as evidence of the State’s success in providing well-structured facilities. “Our Government’s efforts have ensured that Government schools are now at par with private institutions in terms of infrastructure, teachers, and laboratory facilities,” the Minister stated. He concluded by extending his best wishes to all successful students and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to providing a ‘Second Chance’ for those who fell short, ensuring their academic futures remain secure.
