Govt schools students shine in std Xth, XIIth State Board

Students from Government schools in Jabalpur have delivered an extraordinary performance in class 10 and 12 Board results announced by Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE). Breaking traditional trends, Government institutions have recorded significantly higher pass percentages compared to their private counterparts, sparking a wave of celebration within the Education Department. As per statistical data released by the Board, highlighted a clear lead for Government schools in the district. In class 12, Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 83.68%, notably higher than 72.19% achieved by private schools. Whereas, in class 10, Government schools maintained their dominance with 80.59% success rate, leaving private schools behind at 68.23%. The district’s success was further cemented by several students who secured positions on the State and district merit lists. In class 10, Shreya Jain, a student of Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence and Rashmi Gadri from Sandipani School, Sihora, brought laurels to the district by claiming 4th rank in State-level merit list with 496 out of total 500 marks.
 
Similarly Shubhi Saini from Rani Durgavati Girl’s HS School, Garha obtained 4th position with 494 marks, Abhishek Mishra from Brahmarishi Bawara Narmada Vidyapeeth HS School, Gwarighar and Rajshree Vishwakarma from Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence obtained 7th rank with 493 marks, Kalpana Thakur from Tanya Convent HS School Patan and Aniket Koshta from Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence obtained 9th rank in State-level with 491 marks. In class 12 as well, Jabalpur’s students showed their prowess across multiple academic streams. Kruti Pandey from Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence, has claimed 8th rank in Science (Biology) stream with 484 marks while Om Chouksey from Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence secured 10th rank in the Science (Biology) stream with 482 out of 500 marks. Alfiya Anjum from Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence, has secured 10th rank in Humanities (Arts) stream with 480 marks. Himanshi Nagdev from Shishu Vidyapeeth English Medium HS School, GCF Estate and Anam Ansari from Pt Lajja Shankar Jha Model School of Excellence jointly occupied 10th ranking in Commerce stream. District Education Officer Ghanshyam Soni expressed immense pride in these results, attributing the success to hard work of students and dedication of teaching staff in Government-run institutions.
