Amravati Bureau :
Following a video showing some police personnel allegedly celebrating the birthday of Ayan Ahmed, the main accused in the Paratwada sexual exploitation case came to fore, Superintendent of Police Vishal Anand on Friday suspended one police officer and two constables. This action has been taken to ensure transparency in the investigation and to maintain public trust.
Notably, the sexual exploitation case was registered at Paratwada Police Station after obscene photos and videos of several girls, including a minor, surfaced on social media earlier this week. Police have arrested eight individuals, including Ayan Ahmed, who allegedly exploited the girls. However, when videos of police personnel celebrating Ahmed’s birthday went viral, SP Anand took immediate cognisance.
