Taxi drivers threaten to intensify agitation Taxi Vahan Chalak Malak Sayukta Kruti Samiti Nagpur, a union of traxi drivers, on Monday threatened to intensify their agitation if their demands are not met at the earliest possible. The taxi drivers said they will stop their services in the entire city very soon. Right now, the taxi drivers are not offering their services from Nagpur airport.
Addressing a press conference here in the city on Monday, Deepak Sane, office-bearers of the body, said a large number of Rapido, Ola, and Uber bikes are operating in the city.
“The Rapido App should be removed from the google play store as soon as possible. In addition to this, the option of Uber bike should also be removed from the Uber App,” he said.
The other demands of the agitators include updation of apps of the operators as per the directions of Regional Transport offices. They also want that every driver should get the insurance benefits as per the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines 2025.
